How MuoyApp handles your information and how you can exercise your choices.
1. Who we are and when this policy applies
MuoyApp is operated by David Sok. This policy covers the MuoyApp mobile app, website, APIs, and related services, including closed-testing and staging environments. Contact support@saambok.com about privacy or personal-data requests. An organization using MuoyApp determines why and how its employment and workspace records are used; MuoyApp processes those records to provide the service. Your employer or organization can explain its own workplace notices and retention obligations.
2. Account and organization information
We receive information you enter, information your organization provides, and records generated when you use MuoyApp. This can include your name, email, phone, profile photo, account identifiers, sign-in verification details, organization memberships, roles, and preferences. Employment features may process employee numbers, start dates, departments, job titles, schedules, leave, tasks, attendance, and salary or payroll information when those features are used. We use this information to authenticate you, manage access, and provide the selected workplace functions.
3. Messages, documents, photos, and audio
We store the messages, posts, comments, photos, documents, and attachments you submit, along with related sender, recipient, and time information. If you record and send a voice message, microphone access is used for the recording and the audio is uploaded with the message. Files you select are uploaded when you submit them. Camera access supports QR-code scanning. Content is made available to its intended audience according to the feature and workspace permissions; do not upload another person's information without authority.
4. Location and attendance verification
When you use attendance location checks or choose a workplace on a map, MuoyApp may request your device's location permission. Attendance checks can send coordinates and accuracy information to the server to compare with workplace rules and record attendance evidence. Workplace setup stores the location you select. Location is used for these requested functions, not advertising; MuoyApp does not continuously track your location in the background. You can deny or revoke location permission in device settings, although location-dependent attendance checks may then be unavailable.
5. Device information, biometrics, and notifications
We process app-generated device identifiers, device-registration and approval information, public security keys and verification signatures, push-notification tokens, and relevant app/platform details to secure attendance and deliver notifications. Fingerprint or Face ID verification is performed by your device's operating system. MuoyApp receives the verification outcome, not your fingerprint or face template. Biometric preferences can be changed in the app, subject to your organization's attendance requirements. Notifications may include message or workplace-event previews on your lock screen; adjust previews and notification permissions in device settings.
6. Billing, support, and technical information
When billing features are used, we process plan selections, invoices, payment references, and payment status. Payment credentials are handled by the payment method presented at checkout; do not send them through support messages. We process support correspondence and technical records such as IP addresses, request times, app/browser information, security events, and errors to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the service. The website uses cookies and the app uses local storage for sign-in, security, language, and preferences.
8. Security and service-provider safeguards
We use encrypted transport, account authentication, access controls, and security/audit records to protect information. We require service providers handling personal information for MuoyApp to protect it consistently with this policy and applicable platform requirements and limit its use to the disclosed service purposes. Providers and infrastructure may process information outside your country. No system is completely secure; contact us about suspected unauthorized access. Do not send passwords or verification codes to support.
9. How long information is retained
Account and workspace information is retained while needed to provide the service and meet the purposes described here. Retention depends on the record type, workspace instructions, unresolved disputes, security or fraud-prevention needs, and applicable recordkeeping obligations. It is not a promise that every record is automatically erased after a fixed number of days. Organization-held employment records, messages, and documents can remain after a member deletes their login. Ask your organization about its retention schedule and contact us for access, correction, or deletion questions. Backups and operational logs have separate retention schedules; deleting live data does not instantly erase every backup copy. Contact us for the schedule applicable to your data.
10. Requesting account deletion
Open Delete account in your account settings, or use the public account-deletion link below without reinstalling the app. The public flow verifies ownership by email; accounts without an accessible email can use the signed-in flow or contact support for an identity-verified alternative. New requests have a configurable cancellation period, defaulting to seven days. The deletion flow shows the applicable period and scheduled date. You can cancel a scheduled request in account settings before completion. Deletion is processed after the scheduled date; unresolved administrator-transfer requirements can block completion. A creator's account deletion also deletes organizations they created and their workspace data. Organizations they only joined remain, including employment records, messages, and attachments. Personal account content is removed through account and file cleanup, subject to the retention exceptions above. Uninstalling the app or clearing an unread badge is not account deletion.
11. Permissions, choices, and privacy requests
You can change profile and notification preferences in MuoyApp and revoke camera, microphone, location, or notification permissions in device settings. You can manage third-party sign-in permissions with the relevant provider. Removing a permission stops future access through that permission but does not itself delete previously stored records. Contact support@saambok.com to request access, correction, export, deletion, or information about other rights available under applicable law. We may verify your identity and coordinate with your organization where it controls the records. Accepting the Terms is not blanket consent to unrelated data collection or advertising.
12. Children and changes to this policy
MuoyApp is designed for workplace and organization use, not for children under 13. Do not create an account for a child under 13. If you believe a child's information was submitted improperly, contact support@saambok.com so we can investigate and arrange appropriate removal. We may update this policy as features or practices change, show the updated date, and provide notice of material changes. Any new use requiring permission will require the appropriate consent rather than relying only on an updated policy.
